Stelis triangulisepala

Another member of the pleurothallid alliance, this semi-compact (largest growths 4" tall) plant blooms several times a year (usually about a month after a new flush of growths finishes maturing).  Each flower is about a third of an inch in diameter, looking like a string of tiny, fuzzy, Masdevallia-like flowers.  The lip and petals are greatly reduced, surrounding the tiny column in the center of the flower.  The most prominent parts of the flower are the relatively large, flat sepals forming a fuzzy triangle.
